Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized for a pill and caffeine overdose

The rapper known as Tekashi 6ix9ine (whose real name is Daniel Hernandez), 24, was hospitalized in Florida, USA, on Tuesday after having an adverse reaction to caffeine and Hydroxycut , a diet pill.

Tekashi himself, who is on probation, told Shade Room that his overdose was the result of combining a cup of coffee with two Hydroxycut pills instead of one, as prescribed.

Taking the dietary supplements and caffeine made his heart rate race and he began to sweat a lot, until he had to call emergency services and was hospitalized. The rapper denied using any drugs.

Tekashi has previously pleaded guilty to nine felony counts, including organized crime conspiracy and gang membership, possession of firearms, drug trafficking and violent crimes.

After spending two years in prison, the rapper is under house arrest and controlled by a GPS device, after going to prison for only two years, and then a trial where he could have received a sentence from 47 years in prison to life imprisonment, although his collaboration with the authorities and his chronic asthma lowered the sentence.

In May, the rapper, who was also convicted in 2015 of an alleged crime of sexual abuse of minors, after having sex with a girl under 13 when he had already turned 18 , tried to make a donation of about 184,000 euros to a pro-childhood NGO , which rejected it because it came from him.
