Mike Day, a Retired Navy SEAL, passed away on March 27, 2023. It was claimed that he committed suicide.
On April 6, 2007, Mike Day entered a room near Fallujah, Iraq, first in his squad and was immediately engaged in a fierce firefight with three al-Qaeda rebels.
Day’s rifle was knocked out of his hands as he broke through the door by being hit by a hail of gunfire. Mike was shot 27 times; 16 bullets entered his body, and 11 impacted his armour. Day reached the chopper by himself, unaided. He said that he wasn’t being macho, worried that the pain would increase if they picked him up.
His suicide circumstances weren’t disclosed to the public. Funeral rites may be revealed later by the authorities. Everyone is mourning Mike, remembering him, paying tribute to him, and expressing their sympathies on social media.

He was still battling despite having received 27 gunshot wounds. By all accounts, he was a Hero and a legend. He was there for so many people when they needed someone to listen, yet we somehow failed to notice when he needed someone to listen. Mike Day, please pass on. Much blessings and esteem. I will pray for your friends and family. You will surely missed.”
