The goal was reached within hours of the disclosure by a couple of Jesse’s friends.
Jesse Koz’s friends, Diego Strutz and Roana Petri Celeste – who were accompanying him on the road in a van just ahead and saw the accident – made a “kitty” raise funds to bring the bodies of the influencer and his dog to Brazil. And they hit the target in a few hours.
The amount raised was R$ 120 thousand so that the family can say goodbye to the duo in Balneário Camboriú, in Santa Catarina.
And along with them, Floripa Mil Grau – a communication channel that has a partnership with Atlântida/NSC for a radio program -, based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, helped in the dissemination.
The goal to pay for the transfer was R$ 120,000, which was reached in a few hours.
The radio team was frequently in contact with Jesse Koz to partner on future projects. And with the news of the duo’s death, they posted a beautiful video in their honor.
“Our entire team is sorry for the departure of this adventurer who represented our state so well”, wrote Floripa Mil Grau in the post .
The governor of Santa Catarina, Carlos Moisés, is also helping with the procedures. On Twitter, he stated that he had made contact with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos França, requesting support from Itamaraty for the transfer of the bodies.
This duo’s trip to Alaska will continue in the sky.
