“Terrible news. Fellow motorcycle journalist, Evans Brasfield, did not survive a motorcycle accident yesterday. There are no details save for a statement from his wife. Evans was a great guy, a friend, highly respected and loved in the world of moto-journalism. In July I had the honor of spending an evening walking around the Harley-Davidson event in Milwaukee with him, having dinner, and talking. He will be deeply missed.”

“I am crushed by this. Evans Brasfield is one of the kindest, most positive, supportive, intelligent and just damn fun guys I got to hang out with back when I worked in the moto industry. His very voice smiled whenever we talked. What an incredible loss for for all of us and his dear family. Thanks, Evans. Knowing you made my life a better place. God speed buddy.”
