Amy Simpson, the principal of Elm Tree Elementary, suddenly passed away over the weekend, leaving the Bentonville School District in mourning.
Bentonville Schools reported Amy Simpson’s passing in a Facebook post that read: “It is with great regret that we share the passing of Amy Simpson, Principal of Elm Tree Elementary. Over the weekend, Amy sadly passed away from natural causes.
Amy loved to laugh, and it was a lot of fun. She cherished her students and her dear pals. Amy loved her gorgeous family beyond all else. She is survived by her three daughters, Madison, Makenzie, and Mason, her husband of almost 30 years, Stan, and their cherished family dog, Wrigley. The post continued, “We hope you’ll join us in keeping the Simpson family in your thoughts and prayers.
No information is made public about the funeral services. When news of Amy Simpson’s passing broke, many were saddened and shocked. They were as soon missing and thinking of her, paying respect to her on social media and expressing their condolences.
