On April 23, a composer, producer, and solo musician Keith Gattis from Nashville passed away at 52. George Strait and Kenny Chesney covered his songs, and he produced Randy Houser’s pivotal Americana album, Magnolia.
Although the cause of Keith’s death is unknown, other sources indicate that he died in an automobile accident. Everyone was shocked and heartbroken to learn of Keith’s passing. The family may reveal more information about the funeral plans in the future.
Friends and relatives are mourning and remembering him, paying respect to him and expressing their condolences on social media.

In Georgetown, Texas, a little town north of Austin, Keith Gattis was born on May 26, 1970. He developed an early interest in music and started playing professionally when he was 16, touring the Austin region.
He founded a band as a Future Farmers of America member that won first place in a state competition. He was thus allowed to perform in front of 8,000 people at the organization’s national conference in 1988.

He worked in the studio, among others, with Bruce Robison, Sunny Sweeney, Brandy Clark, George Jones, and Jon Pardi.
Gattis joined together with several Nashville musicians and rose to prominence as a performer, producer, and co-writer in the Texas/Red Dirt movement. The love for Keith Gattis was practically universal. So, it came as a shock to the whole country’s music industry.
