The Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico confirmed the death, at the age of 95, of the composer Rubén Fuentes Gasson, who composed great musical themes such as ‘ La Bikina ‘.

Through a statement on its Twitter account, the SACM described Fuentes as a person who had the gift of knowing what people wanted to hear.

“His inspiration and talent opened immense paths in the art of composition and dressed up Mexican music. Maestro Fuentes also achieved an outstanding place in the field of artistic direction, production and musical arrangements”, he pointed out.

Also, almost 40 of his songs were popularized by the singer Pedro Infante.
