The father of the famous Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal had been hospitalized for pulmonary fibrosis.
SPECIAL.- Director Jose Angel Garcia , father of actor Gael Garcia Bernal, died this Friday, January 22 at the age of 62, as confirmed by his partner, actress Bella de la Vega through social networks.
“In paradise you are my love, my heaven, my life. In our Avalon we will meet again, my everything. I love you forever and ever, my teacher, the love of my life,” wrote De la Vega with a photograph where the couple is seen with a black bow.
As will be remembered, the actor was also hospitalized in recent days after his health was compromised by the pulmonary fibrosis that he had suffered for some years .
In an interview for the Ventaneando program, Bella de la Vega highlighted that Gael’s father did not have Covid-19 and that his health declined when he returned from a vacation due to a urinary tract infection that was complicated by the lung problem he suffered.
Until now , actor Gael García Bernal has not commented on the death of his father, with whom he had the fortune to work on the film Amores Perros.
