The Americans revealed that the musician died on the morning of July 26 at his home in Eureka, California. They did not give the causes of death and asked their relatives for respect in difficult times.

Biography

Mike Howe began his career in METAL CHURCH in 1988, after recording the debut of Heretic“Breaking Point”, released the same year. The singer then replaced David Wayne (who died in 2005) in his first stage and later Ronny Munroe with his return in 2015, remaining until his death. It was the guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof who persuaded him to return to training in this second cycle, after spending almost 20 years away from the music scene.

The band’s last release was the rarity compilation “From The Vault” It is a special album with fourteen unreleased songs precisely from the time with Mike Howe on vocals, four of them new and a new version of the classic “Conductor”.
