NFL Hall of Fame member Fred Dean passes away from COVID-19

Fred Dean was one of the best defenders of his time and since 2008 he has been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The NFL is in mourning, because on Wednesday night the sensitive death of Fred Dean\, a member of the NFL hall of fame and winner of two Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers, was announced.

A few days ago, his former teammate Dwight Hicks revealed that Dean was hospitalized due to the coronavirus and on Thursday morning, Hicks revealed that his friend passed away from the disease. The 49ers broke the news this morning.

Throughout his NFL career, Fred Dean played only on two teams: the San Diego Chargers and the San Francisco 49ers . He was one of the strongest defensive ends of the time, which is why he is inducted into the Hall of Fame not only in the NFL, but on both teams.

Rest in peace, Fred Dean.
