Saint Dog, a popular American rapper who founded the Kottonmouth Kings alongside D-Loc and Johnny Richter, has died at age 44 .

According to the TMZ chain, the Police found Saint Dog, whose real name was Steven Thronson, dead at a friend’s house in Victorville (California).

Saint Dog’s friend called 911 when he found the rapper with serious breathing problems.

When the emergency services arrived they could only certify the death of the popular musician, who will undergo an autopsy to determine the causes of his death.
