Tragedy: Algerian national team member killed in a car accident!’
Algerian national team player Bilal Benhamouda lost his life in a car accident on Thursday, June 9.
Everything seems to indicate that the footballer was returning from a meeting with the Algerian National Team. The incident took place on the Douaouda route, about thirty kilometers west of Algiers.

The 24-year-old football player played a match for the national team of his country against Congo on the same day, and according to reports, he was the most noticed actor in the match. He managed to enter the list of scorers and record an assist in the qualification match for the African Cup of Nations .
After meeting Benhamoud, he went to his hometown with another friend to visit his family, but unfortunately, he never arrived at his planned destination. According to Algerian media, the 24-year-old football player was killed in a car accident, and the details of the accident are not known yet.
Bilal Benhamoudawas born on August 28, 1997. He played in the position of an offensive midfielder. He started his playing career in the USMM Hadjot team, and from July 1, 2016, he was a member of the Algeria team with which he had a valid contract until the end of June this year.
The midfielder developed his sports career at USM Alger, where he played from the 2017-18 season. In total, he played 102 games in which he scored 12 goals and provided one assist.
Benhamouda has passed all the national selections of Algeria.
