The Poet Guadalupe Grande Dies At 55

He won the Rafael Alberti prize with her work «La llave de niebla»

The Spanish poet Guadalupe Grande died this Saturday at the age of 55, according to sources from the Teatro Real, an institution to which she was linked, confirmed to Europa Press.

Guadalupe Grande was the daughter of the poets Francisca Aguirre and Felix Grande, and she was the granddaughter of the painter Lorenzo Aguirre.

Graduated in Social Anthropology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), she published books of poetry such as “El libro de Lilit” (Editorial Renacimiento), winner of the Rafael Alberti award; “The key of fog” (Calambur Editorial); or «Maps of wax» (Ed. Poetry Circulating).
