Camacho’s television career spanned nearly 40 years.

The 63-year-old actor from Bogotá died of natural causes.

This Sunday it was announced that the renowned Bogota actor Diego Camacho died at the age of 63. His death occurred on November 7.

“Actor Diego Camacho passed away at 63 years of age. The death of the artist, who had a career of more than 40 years on the screen, was confirmed by his relatives, but the causes are still unknown, “the program reported on its Twitter account.

Among the outstanding productions that Camacho was part of throughout his acting career, are San Tropel and Oye Bonita, in which he played the character of Turco.

The actor narrated in 2016 the delicate economic situation that was happening, because he had moved away from the recording sets, and at that time he lived in Anolaima, Cundinamarca, a town located two hours from Bogotá.

Additionally, he liked to help animals that were homeless, which he said posed a lot of trouble for him. “All the people who seek to do something good for the planet, for life and humanity, we are attacked, and it happens with the animals because there are people who do not want them,” he said in an interview with La Red that year.

He longed to form a non-profit foundation where he could collect them and thus have them very well cared for and fed.
