Zuri Craig Death
Zuri Craig, actor, singer, member of The Craiglewis Band and 2015 America’s Got Talent finalist, died this Friday (21), aged 44. The death was confirmed by the family on social media, but the cause was not informed.
“It is with deep sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother and friend Zuri Craig. Thanks in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy at this unimaginable time of grief.”
Craig was part of a duo with partner Jeffrey Lewis. The duo wowed the judges of the famous NBC reality show America’s Got Talent in 2015 with interpretations of songs such as This is a Man’s World by James Brown (1933-2006) and I’m Going Down by Mary J. Blige.
The band placed fifth in the attraction, as they ended up losing a battle against ventriloquist Paul Zerdin .
