Hurricane G, an American rapper of Puerto Rican descent and the first female Hit Squad member, recently died on a Sunday, November 6, 2022. Rah Digga posted an announcement about her passing on Facebook. No longer given is a cause of death.

The Billboard Magazine single “Somebody Else,” which peaked at #10 on the Hot Rap Singles list, was released by him in 1997. It also debuted at position #54 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.

New York City’s Brooklyn is the place where she was born. She has made cameo appearances on albums by Keith Murray, Redman, Xzibit, Funkdoobiest, Delinquent Habits, and the Cocoa Brovaz as the first female member of the Hit Squad. She also made an appearance on Puff Daddy’s song “P.E.”

The 1997 album All Woman by Gladys Presley was scheduled to be her debut, but it was postponed for more than 15 years. The storm is the inspiration for the name of Lexus Hurricane G’s child with Erick Sermon of EPMD fame.
