Who Was Emily Stalter? Obituary, Cause of Death, Funeral

Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell reports that Emily Alyse Stalter of Castle Shannon committed suicide. The body of Emily, whose empty vehicle was located on October 10 north of Meadville, was discovered this morning, according to officials.

Schell told The Meadville Tribune over the phone that “everything we’ve been looking into today indicates that she has been dead since October 10, the day her automobile was located in that forested area.”

Schell said Stalter was located in a wooded area about 285 yards south of East Cole Road, close to where it joins routes 6 and 19. No planned autopsy, according to Schell

After hearing her passing news, everyone is unfortunate and grieved; all her friends and family are mourning, paying respect to her, and remembering her in their prayers.

Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road (RT 88), where visitation will take place on Thursday from 2-4 and 7–9 pm Queen of Heaven Cemetery interment.
