Who Was Austin Madubuike? Obituary, Cause of Death, Funeral

A member named Austin of the Newman University men’s soccer team has died. On Monday, October 24, junior Austin Madubuike of Toronto, Canada, died unexpectedly. His passing was reported by Newman University.

Last weekend, a 21-year-old from Toronto, Canada, experienced what his coach described as a “medical emergency” and was taken to an intensive care unit in a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital hours later, on the way home to Wichita. Madubuike passed away following a medical incident that doctors were unable to explain eight days later.

The coach Brown claimed the event took place about three hours into the journey in Panama, Oklahoma, a small town near the Oklahoma–Arkansas border. He stated he was not permitted to discuss the specifics of the incident. Madubuike was taken to an ICU in a hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas, via ambulance after being called for help.

After Newman University announced the tragic news on Monday, the whole campus and the Wichita soccer community fell into a state of mourning for a person who teammates and fellow students adored.

Madubuike was a cherished player for the Jets, according to Newman. The rest of the games were played honouring their friend and brother by his teammates.

Cliff Brown, at Newman, remarked, “He had a flair for making everyone feel at ease and laughing around him. He was a very well-liked member of our team and had pals on the basketball and tennis teams. He is hilarious and humble and has a beautiful attitude.

All Newman home sporting activities this weekend, beginning with the volleyball match versus Central Missouri on Friday, Oct. 28, will be preceded by a moment of silence, the university announced. Students and members of the Newman community can access counsellors. Funeral plans, according to Newman, are still being made.
