Wesley Welling Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

A horrific accident close to Westlake High School in Ventura County resulted in the unfortunate death of a 15-year-old kid and the injuries of three other youngsters.

The victims were allegedly struck on the sidewalk by the defendant, 24-year-old Austin Ice, who was leaving the scene of an earlier stabbing.

The 15-year-old victim has been identified as Wesley Welling, a Westlake High School student who is being honoured by the Thousand Oaks community as a beloved son, brother, and friend.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, the car struck the children while leaving Westlake High School and flipped over, trapping the driver inside.

Accordingly, the conditions of two of the injured are moderate and critical. Two additional people received minor injuries. A 15-year-old male student, two female classmates who were 14 and 16 years old, and another person were all victims.

The sheriff’s office eventually named Austin Eis, 24, as the suspect. Eis will be charged with homicide, according to the sheriff’s office, because investigators believe the collision was purposefully caused based on witness testimonies and evidence acquired at the scene.

According to a statement from the Simi Valley Police Department, the driver was sought after for allegedly stabbing a Walmart employee earlier in the day. The victim of the stabbing did not have any life-threatening injuries.

Before the police came, the suspect left the store despite the fact that witnesses could recognise the white Toyota Camry’s licence plate number and the fact that its front bumper was missing.

The suspect then travelled to Camarillo, where he became involved in a domestic altercation after being contacted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s office.

According to the Simi Valley Police, the attack’s motivation is still a mystery and an investigation is still being conducted.

Faculty, students, and staff of the Conejo Valley Unified School District reportedly expressed their concern for the students and their families.
