Tucker Swain, 9, died on April 29 from a sad accident while attending Oak Trace Elementary School in Westfield, Indiana. He was in the third grade.

According to the Westfield Police Department, the 9-year-old Westfield child was hit by a car around 2 p.m. on Saturday in a residential area in the 600 block of Apollo Parkway in the Indianapolis suburb.
The Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital received the boy, who was eventually declared deceased. The accident is still being looked into.
Third-grader Swain participated in baseball, football, and basketball at Oak Trace Elementary. According to a statement from the school’s principal, Jane Hitch, the youngster yearned for fresh challenges, sought out new books to read, and adored sharks.

Tucker was a good-natured, intelligent, humorous, artistic, and athletic youngster who improved the world. He may have recently been seen by many performing as “Economan” in the third-grade production at Oak Trace, where he excelled. A fellow student remarked, “Tucker knew and was friends with EVERYONE.” He was a cherished member of the Rocks Family and was constantly involved in sports, including playing football for the WYSI programme and being a part of the Gold team for basketball and baseball.
A gofundme page was put up to help the family and relieve the load on the cherished family, and 1K donations collected $75,130 of the objective of $50,000.
