Owen Tabor of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a St. Michael the Archangel High School student, has passed away. He died sadly, leaving loved ones who will always miss him inconsolably.
On Monday, May 1, 2023, St. Michael Football posted on Facebook that they had confirmed his death, writing: Always in our prayers, memories, and hearts. Thirty-three will use 23. Prayers are still needed for our athletes, coaches, Warriors family, and Tabors. Owen, “Fly High.”

He was a gifted athlete who gave every game his utmost effort and competed to the best of his ability while playing football for St. Michael. He always encountered kindness, love, and vitality wherever he went.
Everywhere he went, he carried these things with him. Everyone who came into contact with him left feeling as though they had known him for a very long time.
He shone down on everyone with the good fortune to come into contact with him because he was a bright light. He was a blessing to those people.
He was gentle and kind to others, and he always had a smile on his face. He was gracious to everyone. He made it a point to keep a smile on his face at all times. Owen Tabor’s exceptional talent and genius, along with the extraordinary competence and brilliance with which he worked, were nothing less than astounding.
