Tonya Ingram Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

On January 3, 2023, Tonya Ingram—a poet from Cincinnati, a Bronx native, an advocate for mental health, a kidney transplant candidate, a lupus legend, and a fan of Tom Hardy and The Office—passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

The cause of death is not disclosed. The specifics of the funeral services may be revealed later. Everyone’s friends and family, who also respected her, miss her, thought of her, and prayed for her in the afterlife.

“Tonya Ingram was a shining example of a poet with the uncommon and amazing talent of using her voice to provide hope. We are grateful that Tonya allowed us to get to know her and experience her humour and magic. Tonya and the sunshine she brought to Los Angeles will be missed. Tonya was an artistic and daydreams, and her songs discuss the importance of caring for oneself, particularly on days when we don’t feel deserving. She holds degrees from Otis College of Art and Design and New York University. Today, Tonya resides in Los Angeles, California.
