Tish Letay Merricks Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

Unfortunately, a cherished mother from Brunswick, Georgia, has died away only a few days after giving birth to her daughter, Brunswick High School alumna Tish Letay Merricks tragically passed away.

After a protracted fight with sickle cell anemia, Tish was declared dead. Her family and friends adored Tish Letay Merricks. She was a devoted mother to two children and the stepmother to three older children.

Those who loved her, especially David Armstrong Jr., the father of her children, said that her passing had left a deep hole in their hearts. Tish was born with a fatal condition, which prevented her from engaging in various activities as a young woman.

The family might reveal funeral arrangements in the future. Everyone is already missing her, thinking about her, paying tribute to her, and hoping for her eternal life.

“I just now came upon an extremely heartbreaking tik tok, which I will be uploading after this… Tish Letay Merricks, a lovely mother, died soon after giving birth to her priceless daughter. Please let’s all assist this family. Tisha’s son, David Armstrong Jr., lost his love, and a newborn baby girl now also lost her mother. Just no words exist.”

Her family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to collect funds for her memorial rituals. According to reports, her organs would be used to save as many lives as possible. The GoFundMe Accounts include a message that reads:

Hello, my name is Latisha, and I’m raising money for my brother David, who the family calls DJ. The four youngsters in the image and a brand-new baby girl born on March 27th make up DJ’s loving family of five. A tragedy struck, forcing DJ to lose the love of his life and face the prospect of raising his child son and new daughter on his own during what was thought to be an exciting period of planning for the new baby and looking forward to having a fifth addition to the family.

As a truck driver, DJ spends many long days and maybe even late nights making deliveries throughout Georgia and other states. This week, he was unable to work and won’t be able to do so for some time. You are only paid in this profession if you put in the time. We all know the bills will keep coming, so he must start a one-parent family. I’m launching this go fund to support DJ during this difficult time. This will allow him to take some time to process his loss, consider all of his child care and assistance alternatives, and work with his employer to determine a potential return to work date. I would appreciate any contribution you can make to DJ’s cause. No donation is too little. One hundred sixty-five donations were made, raising the total amount to $5,979.
