On Wednesday morning, the 25th of November 2022, the news hit the internet that the famous soul singer Sammie Okposo has passed away.
Sammie Okposo, who is currently residing in the United Kingdom, informed the BBC, it was around 4:30 that Sammie Okoso suddenly fell down and passed away.
According to beninwebtv, The singer known for his exceptional vocal timbre passed away this Friday, November 25, in a hospital where he had been confined for a few days.
The cause of his death has not been revealed to us but his manager in Nigeria, Sammie Okposo, is silent.
Sammie Okposo was born on the 28th of May 1971, which means that he was born at the age of 61.
He is a native of Delta state in the central region of Nigeria.
Sammie Okposo is a famous soul singer who has written many songs.
In 1995, he started his music writing career when he used to write songs for movie players to use in their performances as reported by a news agency Believers Portal.
Among his popular songs is Wellu-Wellu which he did in the year 2000.
He has won many awards both in Nigeria and overseas.
In 2004, the American ambassador to Nigeria invited Sammie Okposo to sing at Martin Luther King Jr. and their Independence Day celebration on the Fourth of July.
In 2010 he got married to his wife, Ozioma.
What was Sammie Okposo’s behaviour that caused his wife to have a heart attack?
At the beginning of this year, Okposo explained that at the end of the last year 2021, he decided to travel to America, and he chose a woman as a friend.
It is true that he knows that the step is not for him, that he is not in accordance with the will of God as a spiritual singer and that he is married.
