Senior at Loyola High School, Ryan Times,17, was a beloved citizen of the DRALL community who tragically passed away on Tuesday.
On April 11, 2023, his passing was reported in a Facebook post that read:
“It is with deep regret that we learned of the unfortunate demise of a DRALL Alum, Ryan Times, on Tuesday. Before 2017, Ryan participated in the DRALL League and went to St. Anastasia. He played baseball for the Loyola High School varsity team as a senior.
Everyone will miss Ryan a lot because he was a lovely young man. In this trying time, kindly remember Ryan’s family and friends in your prayers.”
The details of what caused his death are kept hidden. He will undoubtedly be missed by his friends and family, who are all crushed and saddened by the news of his passing.
John and Mary Times, Ryan’s parents, Emily, Ryan’s younger sister, and Ryan’s grandparents all remain. In addition, he leaves behind several friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles who will always love his memories.
On Saturday, April 22, a memorial ceremony will be conducted at St. Mary’s Catholic Church to celebrate Ryan’s life. At 10:00 AM, there will be a visitation. At 11:00 AM, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial.
Ryan’s family asks that donations be sent to the Loyola High School Baseball Programme or the DRALL Scholarship Fund instead of flowers.
Ryan was born in Los Angeles, California, on May 23, 2005. He played baseball growing up and was a part of the DRALL League till 2017.
Ryan attended St. Anastasia and graduated from Loyola High School as a standout baseball player. He had previously participated in St. Anastasia.
Ryan will be remembered for his generous nature, contagious grin, and undying loyalty to his loved ones. He loved athletics and cherished his time with his coaches and teammates.
His passing would sadden all who knew Ryan since he had a remarkable capacity to unite people and make them feel at home.
