The bathtub in Laura Lozano’s hotel room at The Setai in Miami Beach was discovered to be empty. She was working with music rep David Bolno, 46, on her music career, and he had gone to his room at 4.30 a.m. without her.
According to a police report, she was discovered by hotel security nine hours after an unknown chemical was found in the room. Her cause of death has not yet been determined.
Detectives have identified David Bolno, a music agent who has worked with well-known musicians like Drake and Justin Bieber, as a person of interest in connection with Laura Lozano’s puzzling murder in his luxury Miami apartment.
Bolno was courting Lozano to join his Los Angeles-based management company, NKSFB, of which he is now a partner. One of the biggest entertainment companies in the country, according to NKSFB.
Bolno is not thought to be a person of interest, according to reports that he has been helping authorities as they look into Lozano’s death.
Bolno called Lozano’s passing a “tragedy” and admitted that he had wanted to sign the budding performer after “helping her to make music.”
It was a sad tragedy, and he told the publication. I had already left the room when they discovered her, so I wasn’t there when they did.
It wasn’t very pleasant since she was a customer, someone he genuinely liked, and a decent person who was about to sign a record deal with him. I assisted her in making music.
Bolno asserts that Lozano spent the previous night in his flat since she made music there.
