Roseanna Christiansen, who played maid Teresa on the final nine seasons of CBS’s Dallas, died on July 14. Her husband, Steven Rizzo, verified that she passed away at Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster, California, at age 71. The reason for death was not disclosed. Christiansen met Rizzo at a bible study in Culver City, California. The Dallas movie was filmed locally, and the pair did get married there in June 1989. Her husband, Steven Rizzo, kids Josiah and Grace, and sister Elba are all survivors. The Heritage of Faith Christian Center in Crowley hosted her memorial service.
After finishing high school in 1969, the actress moved to LA to begin her career. She is a native New Yorker who made her acting debut at age 9 in The Jeffersons, an off-off-Broadway production opposite her brother Victor. She got her big break in the Norman Lear comedy The Jeffersons.
Christiansen joined Dallas in 1982 for the show’s sixth season and remained until the show’s fourteenth and final season in 1991. One hundred twelve episodes featured her.

She spent her career assisting thousands of people in the industry as an acting coach and an ordained minister. Christiansen’s death left her with a $3 million income.
