Robbie Bachman Death: Obituary, Cause Of Death, Funeral

The loss of a member of the music community is being mourned. Robbie Bachman, a member of the band Bachman-Turner Overdrive, achieved renown with his brothers Randy, Tim, and Fred Turner, has passed away. The cause of death is not disclosed.

Randy Bachman’s official Facebook page broke the news of Robbie Bachman’s passing.

We no longer hear BTO’s relentless beat. According to a call from Fred Turner, my youngest brother Robbie has joined Mom, Dad, and brother Gary on the other side. Perhaps Jeff Beck needs a drummer to perform with, Fred suggested. He was a crucial component of our rock ‘n’ roll machine, and we rocked the world together.

Everyone, including his admirers, friends, and family, is paying tribute to and expressing their sorrow for him on social media.

“Robbie Bachman, a buddy of mine, passed away.

In the 1970s, when I was a youngster, I first heard Bachman-Turner Overdrive and was fascinated. I could listen to their music for hours because I adored them.”

Robin Peter Kendall Bachman, a Canadian drummer and the younger brother of guitarist, singer, and songwriter Randy Bachman was born on February 18, 1953. He served as the band Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Brave Belt’s first drummer. On the album flaps for Brave Belt and BTO, he is occasionally referred to as “Robin” or “Rob.”

Bachmann practiced the drums at home as a child, frequently performing with his elder brother Randy. Robbie accepted Randy’s offer to work as the Brave Belt’s drummer when he was 18. Chad Allan and Fred Turner are further members of the Brave Belt. A different Bachman sibling, Tim Bachman, joined the Brave Belt in 1972 after Allan departed.

Robbie created the BTO Gear emblem when Bachman-Turner Overdrive took the name Brave Belt in 1973. “Roll On Down the Highway,” one of Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s biggest successes, was co-written by Robbie (with Fred Turner).

Randy Bachman departed the group in 1991, and the rest continued to tour with Randy Murray as their backup guitarist until the end of 2004.

No information was given about the funeral services.
