Grant MacDonald, the Ram Ranch famed singer, faces charges amid Incestuous relationship with nephew rumours.
Grant MacDonald, a Canadian singer-songwriter who created the infamous Ram Ranch meme song, has been reportedly arrested in Toronto, Canada, in January 2024 for allegedly having an incestuous relationship with his nephew and leaking his intimate images on social media without consent.
MacDonald has since created a GoFundMe page to appeal for funds for his legal defence and claimed that the accusations against him were part of a conspiracy by anti-vaxxers due to his support of vaccines during the COVID-19 Pandemic. MacDonald created a GoFundMe page on January 4, 2024, titled, ‘Ram Ranch Go Fund Me For Dignity,’ in which he calls allegations and charges against him a ‘political plot’ and blames the anti-vaxxers for targeting him for supporting vaccines during the COVID-19 Pandemic. He appealed for funds for his legal defence but did not disclose what he was being ‘persecuted’ for on the page.
On January 22, 2024, a post on various social media platforms emerged, including screenshots from what seems to be a Discord group MacDonald is in, and he informs the group that he is being arrested. The post also includes a legal notice to Grant MacDonald from the lawyers of a man named Shawn Driscoll.
The notice informs MacDonald to ‘cease and desist any and all communications with Mr. Driscoll’ and from posting about him on social media. It also orders MacDonald to “cease and desist from dissemination sexualized images and recordings of Driscoll in any from.” The notice also recommends him to ‘obtain legal counsel.’
An X (formally known as Twitter) user @kenshirotism posted the screenshots and an image of the legal notice with the caption, “The Ram Ranch guy got arrested for leaking his nephew’s nudes. He’s been in an incestuous relationship with his nephew for years.” The tweet has since garnered over 2500 likes and has been shared frequently by online users.
