On Thursday morning, HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio — A court hearing turned extremely violent as the father of a 3-year-old toddler attacked the man accused of stabbing and killing a mom and her toddler.
Desean Brown, 22, was charged with stabbing Nyla Lattimore and throwing her daughter Nyteisha Lattimore in the Ohio River.
The child’s father attacked Desean Brown during the court hearing. Moreover, Desean Brown was present in the court for a suppress hearing. Before a taped confession occurred, the hearing ended as Nyteisha Lattimore’s father attacked Brown.
The judge was urged to press the emergency button as the father, Tonio Hughes, was irrational. Two deputies threw him to the ground. Brown and Hughes were led from the courtroom after Hughes was handcuffed. Hughes attempted to escape the courtroom and intended to attack Brown once more before Brown was led outside.
Hughes is charged with contempt of court and sentenced to seven days in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
