US Based Nigerian Singer Zuwa Shot Dead in the United States

US-based Nigerian singer Zuwa, also known as Osazuwa Agbonayinma, has been fatally shot in the United States of America. The tragic demise caught the attention of social media, expressed heartfelt condolences to the musician.

Cause of death

Zuwa’s father, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former Nigerian lawmaker, confirmed the news of his son’s death while starting with entertainment News on television channels. In his statement, he stated that his son Zuwa, who also had a master’s degree in architecture, was gunshot in the back of his head on Sunday, which led to Zuwa’s untimely and tragic demise.

Renowned Duo

Nigerian singer Zuwa founded a duo named Roze, which consisted of his brother, Eghosa Rodney Agbonayinma, also known as Row. The Row was born on January 11, 1998, and Zuwa was born in July 1999, in Houston, Texas, to Nigerian-American parents; however, later, they relocated to their native land, Nigeria, where they earned their primary and secondary school education. Later, Row studied petroleum engineering while Zuwa had a master’s in architecture.

Row and Zuwa shared their passion for music through their duo Roze, which earned significant recognition and appreciation in the Music landscapes of Nigeria and the United States with their hit songs.

The duo first appeared while they were working on their test project in 2014 called Time to Party. The songs were never released by the duo; however, in 2016, the duo again appeared when they were introduced to producer Mekoyo.

Roze recorded and released several hit songs, such as the song ‘ The Whole Night’ which was greatly appreciated and highly recognized and was seen performing at many renowned events in Nigeria, especially in the AY live show and signature concerts by Zlatan, Kizz Daniel, Burna Boy, and many other hosts.

Burial plan

The family of US-based Nigerian musician Zuwa announced their son’s burial services. Zuwa’s father announced through a WhatsApp broadcast on Tuesday that they invite loved ones and acquaintances of Zuwa to the burial services on January 17, 2024.

The family stated that the venue of the rite is 13501 Alief Clodine Road, Houston, Texas, from 12 pm to 2 pm.
