The American former singer and actress Nicki Lynn Aycox, best known for her roles in Supernatural, Jeepers Creepers 2, and Perfect Stranger, has tragically died at the age of 47. The reason for death is unknown, and the family or authorities will make the funeral preparations public later.

Everyone’s friends and family are praying for her in memory and are expressing their condolences and tributes online:

My beautiful, intelligent, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side. Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was a fighter, and everyone who knew her loved her.

Nicki Aycox, born on May 26, 1975, has had a rich artistic life since she was nine and first fell in love with the piano. Nicki was playing Beethoven for crowds all over Oklahoma in her early teens. Still, her family had a severe financial setback. She was forced to sell her piano, enrolled at the University of Oklahoma after finishing high school, and started extreme academic work there. However, she soon found herself driving to California to enrol in Long Beach State’s drama programme.

Nicki’s career as a professional performer got off to a reasonably rapid start compared to others when she signed with a small agency in Hollywood during her second year at Long Beach State.

Within a year of moving from Oklahoma to Los Angeles, she was working minor bit parts on numerous prominent networks and series. In the early stages of her career, Nicki costarred with actor Stephen Rae in the HBO movie “Double Tap” and made appearances on shows like “Third Rock from the Sun,” “Providence,” “Ally McBeal,” David Kelley’s “Ally McBeal,” and the 1999 X-Files episode “Rush.”

That TV character led to a part in the 2008 sequel “I Want to Believe” of the “X-Files” series. Aycox refused to let this rule apply to her at a period when there was an implicit distinction between “film” performers and “television” actresses.
