Nicole Foltz of Tampa, Florida, a manager at The Tarpon Tavern in Tarpon Springs, unexpectedly and tragically died in a fire accident at the backyard firepit on November 18, 2022, leaving friends, loved ones, family, and the entire town in shock and grief.
90% of Nicole’s body was burned in the gas fire tragedy. Jeffrey, Nicole’s son, also suffered severe injuries in the backyard firepit incident. The untimely and tragic death of Nicole Foltz shook our entire community to its very core.
The family has not yet spoken about the funeral preparations because they are still in shock and grief, but they may do so later. On social media, her friends and family have posted tributes and sympathies.

All contributions will go toward assisting the family in paying for Nicole’s funeral, her medical expenses, ongoing hospital costs for minor Jeffrey’s skin graphing and long-term rehabilitation, daycare, and continued living expenses for the six-person surviving family who are now struggling to make ends meet without Nicole’s income.
She was always there for others, whether it was a member of her own family, a friend, a client, or a coworker; a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary; or even a regular day. She was there for them at all times.
Nicole gained a lot of admirers since she exuded such genuine joy in life. Nicole worked at The Tarpon Tavern for several years in management and customer service. She would constantly light the room with her beautiful grin, which was contagious.
She was always prepared to assist anyone in need. Everybody will have many beautiful memories of our time together, even though all will significantly miss Nicole.
