Nicholas DeMaio’s life was unexpectedly taken from him as he traveled down Yaphank Avenue in his 2003 Toyota Corolla.
The sad and sudden event took place about 6:30 p.m. The young man’s car went off the road, ran over an obstruction, rose into the atmosphere, and crashed into a telephone pole.
Tragically, after responding quickly to the site, local officials determined and announced that Nicholas DeMaio had passed away.
