The nominee for a Grammy, Morgan Taylor, passed away at 52. According to a GoFundMe set up by his colleagues, the multimedia artist who made music and art for children passed away following a “rapid and unexpected illness.”
At Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, a memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 4:00 PM. In honor of Morgan, funds can be made payable to Taffy Presents or the Hungry for Music Foundation.

Gordon and Elizabeth Taylor’s son was born in Kettering, Ohio, on September 5, 1969. His father passed away before him. In addition to children Harvey and Ridley, mother Elizabeth, sister Ann, brother Grant (Katherine), nephews Scott, Owen, and Silas, niece Rae, and deeply committed friends in both the United States and the UK, Morgan is also survived by his wife of 18 years, Rachel Loshak.
