The doctor  Luis Aurelio Vives Echeverría, father of the Samarian singer-songwriter  Carlos Vives Restrepo, died at his home in Santa Marta at the age of 91.

The doctor and specialist in otorhinolaryngology, was a charismatic and well-loved man in the capital of Magdalena,  becoming a key person in the artistic and professional development,  not only of his son Carlos but also of the actor Guillermo Vives and his other two children Luis Francisco and Juan Enrique.

Precisely, the news of his death was communicated by  Juan Enrique  through a virtual message:

“Dad thank you just thank you.  In debt forever, I know you are with God because you deserve it. I love you, today, tomorrow, and forever. We will see us again. Fly high dad ”.
