Lincoln Walsh, an extraordinary young athlete who unfortunately passed away on October 16, 2023, was involved in a tragic accident that resulted in his death in Holyrood, Newfoundland and Labrador.
What caused the young Athlete’s death?
His cause of death details include that Lincoln was having fun and spending good time with friends at a Holyrood garden, but out of nowhere, a very sad tragedy happened that involved a snapped zip wire that took his life.
The zip line’s unexpected and heartbreaking breakdown caused an unexpected fall with a brutal brain injury.
Lincoln Walsh unfortunately passed away from his accident-related injuries. Although he received emergency care and intensive treatment at the Janeway Kids Hospital in St. John’s, he lost his life then and there.
Lincoln’s hockey organization, CBR Junior Hockey, officially announced the heartbreaking news of his death and made this news public with the community on their official Facebook page.
As far as the funeral details of Lincoln Walsh are concerned, it is said that Holy Cross Church in Holyrood will host the funeral ceremony in Lincoln Walsh’s honour. October 21, 2023, was the date of the service. Those who knew him dearly paid tribute to the victim’s family on his farewell.

On July 7, 2010, Lincoln Walsh was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. He was an amazing young athlete. He was a genuine hard worker who succeeded in the eighth grade at Holy Cross Junior High School.
He also played defence for the CBR Renegades Peewee, A known hockey team. Despite all this, he was passionate about fishing, camping, biking, and spending quality time with his loved ones, especially his family.
Unfortunately, he had to let go of his life because of the tragic incident that ended his life. Lincoln’s accomplishments in school, with his passion for hockey, and the powerful influence that he had on everyone he met are what define his legacy and his remarkable life.
