Lexi Rose Bell,18, committed suicide and died at her home on the evening of March 25. Her death’s circumstances are not made public.
There will be a celebration of Lexi Bell’s life on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at The Space in Skowhegan, according to a post on Facebook by Charity Chillington.
We want to give Lexi’s family and friends a place to honour her life and the love she instilled in all of us. Please arrive any time between 1:00 and 3:00 PM. Everyone will have the chance to share their recollections of Lexi at this casual meeting if they choose.

Lexi leaves a vast network of devoted family, friends, and colleagues behind her, including her sisters Juliana, Jenna and brother Danny. Her sister Raelynn passed away before Lexi. Now that they are together, Heaven is unquestionably experiencing its wildest dance party ever.
Lexi, born on June 16, 2004, was raised in Cumberland before transferring to Skowhegan, where she attended high school and graduated in 2022. The “Prom King” title was proudly and significantly bestowed on Lexi. She was a student-athlete who participated in tennis and soccer.
Lexi enrolled in the marine biology programme at the University of Maine at Orono to pursue her aspirations of becoming a marine biologist. She also recently applied for an internship on a whale-watching boat in Bar Harbor. Lexi established close friends during her brief stay at UMO, as she did everywhere. Lexi’s favourite companions were Teddy, her cat, and Luke, the family dog.
The Bell-Chillington family has suffered unimaginable losses; thus, a Gofundme campaign has been set up to support the family by reducing the financial burden of this tragedy.
