An outstanding musician from South Glens Falls, New York, named Bobby Dick, has passed away. On March 27, 2023, in the presence of his cherished family, he tragically passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
With deep feelings, his family announced his departure in a social media post, writing, “Only the good die young-with heavy hearts we are devastated to say the world’s oldest teenager has exited the main stage to praise the heavens with his amazing voice.
The family may announce funeral services in the future. Everyone is wishing her well and expressing their sympathies on social media.
“It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our dear friend, Bobby Dick. Our deepest condolences go out to his beautiful wife, Susie Q, the family, and all who loved him. We will cherish our memories of all the great times we shared. Bobby, you will be missed by the countless folks whose lives you’ve touched. We love you and are so grateful to have known you. May you rest in peace, friend.”
Bobby’s band has performed at the Copa Cabana, Café Wha, Palace Theater, RPI Fieldhouse, Las Vegas, Forest Hills Stadium, Hollywood Bowl, clubs, conventions, ski lodges, and parties nationwide.
They’ve served as opening acts for groups like the Rolling Stones, The Who, Tina Turner, the Monkees, the Righteous Brothers, the Dave Clark Five, and even Jimi Hendrix along the way.
Another of his numerous gifts was his generous and considerate temperament towards other people. Because of his charismatic demeanor and upbeat attitude toward life, people enjoyed being around him. This was one of the contributing elements to his personality attribute of being a very dynamic person.
