With deep feelings, his family announced his departure in a social media post, writing, “Only the good die young-with heavy hearts we are devastated to say the world’s oldest teenager has exited the main stage to praise the heavens with his amazing voice.

They’ve served as opening acts for groups like the Rolling Stones, The Who, Tina Turner, the Monkees, the Righteous Brothers, the Dave Clark Five, and even Jimi Hendrix along the way.

Another of his numerous gifts was his generous and considerate temperament towards other people. Because of his charismatic demeanor and upbeat attitude toward life, people enjoyed being around him.
