A sad incident occurred on Saturday, May 6, when Cindy, Kyu, William, and James Cho went together to the Allen outlet mall in North Texas.
James is three years old, and William turned six just four days earlier. They were there to swap William’s birthday clothing for something in a different size.
An afternoon meant for light, joy, and celebration was tragically cut short by another mass shooting massacre that claimed the lives of 8 people. The family is devastated by the untimely deaths of James, 3, Cindy, Kyu, and the other victims.
Their six-year-old son William is the only survivor of this terrible incident after being discharged from the intensive care unit.
The family, comprised of American citizens, lived in Dallas. According to media reports, a man exited a car in front of the outlet mall at 3:36 p.m. on Saturday and immediately started shooting at people.
Eight people were killed in the incident, and seven more were hurt.
The gunman, 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, was shot and killed by a police officer who happened to be nearby. Garcia reportedly belonged to far-right organizations, according to some reports.
