California, Bakersfield’s Jordan Daniel Little, 42, was recognized by the Kern Township Coroner’s Officer as the man who died in an accident on Highway 43. The cause of the death is a two-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 43; Jordan’s car is one of them; the accident happened north of Panama Lane on October 25, 2023, at about 12:15 p.m., as reported byCalifornia Highway Patrol.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Little was driving a southbound Kia automobile on Highway 43, just north of Panama Lane. At the same time, a 32-year-old Delano resident was travelling at about 57 miles per hour on Highway 43 in a northbound Freight-liner, chasing the Kia Sol in the other direction.
The driver of the Kia Sol, according to CHP, unexpectedly switched lanes from south to north, right into the path of the semi-truck, for an unknown cause.
After colliding with the large rig’s left front, the Kia Sol’s left side rolled onto the highway’s west shoulder and turned onto its right side. The semi-truck wheels came to a stop on the west shoulder.
Little was declared dead at the scene, according to CHP, after a strong hit from a heavy vehicle and the semi-truck driver also got injured.
