John Nichols, Market Leader of Movement Mortgage Died Unexpectedly

John Nichols, Market Leader of Movement Mortgage, unexpectedly passed away on September 3, 2023; his death cause is unknown. John’s sudden demise mourns the community in loss and grief.

He passed away after a lengthy career as a strategic partner, business tycoon, and beloved friend of many in the Women’s Council of Realtors Northern Nevada. He was regarded as one of the Women’s Council’s most ardent advocates.

His death news was confirmed through many Facebook posts; the Women’s Council of Realtors Northern Nevada also posted an official statement about his death on Facebook and wrote:

“It is with the deepest sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely departure of John Nichols, our cherished strategic partner and friend to many. Knowing love is having known John. We extend our sincere sympathies to John’s entire family as well as to his husband Dennis.”

John’s untimely departure left behind his family in shock and disbelief. Thoughts and Condolences to his husband, Dennis Nichols, family and community, John’s funeral details have not been disclosed publicly.

Who was John Nichols?

John Nichols was an ID native of Reno, Nevada. He was a former MBA student at Western Governors University. John was married to Dennis Nichols.

He has been a Market Leader at Movement Mortgage since January 2017 and a former Branch manager at Wells Fargo. John was the proud owner of one of the first tables for the celebration honoring the Top 25 Real Estate Professionals and a member, a partner in the strategy of the Women’s Council.

He was one of the first people to advocate for philanthropic giving and “paying it forward.” His lively personality filled every available space.

John was one of the Women’s Council’s most ardent supporters. He was a pioneer in the concepts of reciprocity and reciprocity. His charismatic personality permeated every space.

The Women’s Council announced on their Facebook post that they will honour John’s influence and legacy within the business on September 15 at one of the Top 25 in Real Estate events. It stated, “We are proud to have his closest family, Movement Mortgage Leadership Team, and John’s local Half-A-Dime team join us for his special tribute.”
