Jordan Cashmyer,  who rose to short-lived fame for participating in one of  MTV’s most successful reality shows,  Pregnant at 16, has been found dead at the age of 26.

Jordan participated in the fifth season of the popular program that showed the life of adolescents before the imminent arrival of a son. It is known that after the filming, in which, in addition to the pregnant woman, she was dealing with the lack of a home and employment – bordering on homelessness -, she broke up with her partner and father of little Evie, Derek Taylor, although she had to give up the custody rights to her ex-boyfriend’s mother in 2015.

To support herself, she began working as a dancer in nightclubs. However, last year, coinciding with the birth of her second daughter, Lyla, she announced that she had not only left that life but celebrated a year of sobriety.

My dear firstborn, Jordan, has passed away and was only 26 years old. Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should have to go through the loss of a child.
