A deadly accident in Waxahachie, Texas, took the life of Garland Owensby, a professor at Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU), on May 31, 2023. In the autumn of 1998, Garland Owensby started working as a teacher at Southwestern.
Investigative organisations seek to determine the conditions that led to the accident or what caused it.
The family will shortly make the obituary’s information public. Garland Owensby’s terrible death causes everyone to feel sad and upset as they begin to miss him and express their condolences and respect for him.

Garland recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in pastoral ministry from Southeastern College in Lakeland, Florida, a school connected to the Assemblies of God.
According to sources, the subject recently graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a Master of Science in Practical Theology and a Master of Arts in Bible & Theology.
He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas, with a PhD in educational ministry. A PhD project was carried out to help students incorporate conventional spiritual practices into their daily lives.
Owensby has published work in several magazines and publications, including YouthWorker Journal, Youth Leader Magazine, The Ocala Star Banner, Pentecostal Evangel, TheRomantic.com, The52.com, Momentum Leadership Training, The Evangel, and the book “Hot Illustrations for Youth Talks 3” edited by Wayne Rice. A feature essay titled “Uncommon Communion” by Owensby was also published in Group Magazine.
