Demura was also a prolific author, having written several karate and martial arts training books. He was known for his expertise in traditional Japanese weapons, such as the bo staff and nunchaku, and popularized their use in martial arts training and films.

In addition to his martial arts career, Demura also worked as a stuntman and fight choreographer in Hollywood, working on films such as “The Karate Kid,” “Mortal Kombat,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze.”

Demura’s contributions to the martial arts world and popular culture were immense, and he will be remembered as a true pioneer and icon in the industry.
