On October 25, an old couple was tragically found dead in their house located on 81st Drive, close to the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road.
They were identified as Elizabeth Grewell, who is 50, and William Grewell, who is 62; they have both passed away.
Peoria Police announced the Grewell couple’s death.

According to the initial reports, the cause of their unexpected death is said to be a murder-suicide after a shooting at a home Wednesday morning. Police Officers were immediately called to the home near 83rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road around 6:45 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
Police officers said that William Grewell took the life of his wife, Elizabeth, and then attempted suicide, ending his own life as well. When the police entered the house, officers found both husband and wife dead from gunshot wounds. Peoria Police mentioned that the incident happened just after 6:30 a.m.
At this time, the Police Investigation is still ongoing.
