Eli Ostreicher, a self-taught serial entrepreneur who spent many years in the Borough Park neighborhood of New York City, died in a motorcycle accident in Thailand at age 39. He was also the founder and current CEO of GTTFP Holdings.
The accident’s full circumstances are still unknown, and there is currently no information about funeral arrangements. Ostreicher’s passing has left his family and friends grieving, and they have expressed their sorrow and condolences on social media.
Ostreicher was a member of the Orthodox Jewish community in London when he was born there in July 1983. Early in his adolescence, Ostreicher studied at a yeshiva in Hitchin, United Kingdom. Later, he attended SmartTrack, an IT college in the Lee Valley neighborhood of London, where he earned the Microsoft MCSE and Cisco CCNA certifications in 2004.
Regal Wings, his business in Borough Park, won the top spot on Inc. Magazine’s 500 List in the travel and hospitality category in 2013, Ostreicher was also the owner of five other distinct businesses.
Additionally, he provided premium and air travel services for many well-known businesses and prestigious institutions, including Rolex, Walmart, Berkshire Hathaway, The United Nations, Bayer, Colgate, Universal Studios, Triple Five Group.
As a sister company of Regal Wing, Ostreicher introduced Regal Card in 2015 as an airport lounge and travel benefits membership program. Additionally, Ostreicher established Miles 4 Flights, a service that assists people in converting their airline miles into flights.
Ostreicher founded SHARGE and VVandr in 2019. The SHARGE 3-port 65W laptop and USB-C/A wall charger is the smallest of its kind, and the VVandr brand creates thermometers and a custom-made, hand-painted Donald Trump bobblehead.
Ostreicher gave $500,000 to Bonei Olam in 2013, a group that supports married couples struggling with infertility. YJP and Voyager HQ are two organizations that focus on startups and entrepreneurs, and Ostreicher serves on their senior advisory boards.
