Dawson Harrell Death: Obituary, Cause of Death, Funeral

On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Dawson Harrell, unfortunately, died away, leaving his family, friends, and loved ones alone in heartbreaking condition.

Dawson was in an accident this past Thursday. He suffered severe trauma to his legs. He was life-flighted at the Shands Trauma Center in Gainesville.

After arrival, he had surgery to stabilize his legs. He came through surgery OK and was alert and talking as he had been the entire time. Since then, he has become unresponsive, and his health condition has developed into that of a brain injury, and eventually passed away.

His death was announced through a Facebook post by Rob-Melahn Harrell that states:

“Good morning. We just wanted to let everyone know we lost Dawson Harrell. Our hearts are just completely broken. And even though we are devastated, the outpouring of love, visits, and, most importantly, prayers have got us to this point. Those of you that prayed for him, here and afar, please don’t get down on your faith and question why? Our Lord and Savior do not make mistakes. As we make our decisions moving forward, we will let everyone know. I’ve done my best to express our family’s gratitude to everyone, and I’m struggling to find the words. Please forgive me. We love all of you, even the ones we don’t know.

Love,

The Harrell Family.”
