Pastor Sug Parker and Valerie Parker, beloved parents of Chris Parker, lost their son suddenly and unexpectedly.
Chris Parker, a longtime Sandersville, Georgia resident, and a Middle Georgia State University student-athlete, departed, leaving his friends and family mourning.
On Friday, August 4 2023, his death was announced by Mt Olive Baptist Church. His cause of death has not yet been officially announced.

Chris Parker was born and grown in Sandersville, Georgia. He graduated from Washington County High School in Georgia.
After graduating from high school, he pursued his schooling at Middle Georgia State University Knights Athletics. He was frequently the source of hope in the worst situations. He consistently nailed the humour and vibes.
Chris was an outstanding athlete who participated in 10 games during his junior season but did not start any of them.
On November 2 against Southeastern Baptist, he scored a season-high nine points, giving him 23 points. He also benefited the team with four rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
His contagious laughter and sharp sense of humour made everyone around him happier and helped people cope with even the most trying situations.
