Chris Parker, a longtime Sandersville, Georgia resident, and a Middle Georgia State University student-athlete, departed, leaving his friends and family mourning.

On Friday, August 4 2023, his death was announced by Mt Olive Baptist Church. His cause of death has not yet been officially announced.
