Carmen Xtravaganza, a model, singer, and member of the Ballroom Hall of Fame, has passed away, leaving her admirers devastated and heartbroken.
On Instagram, Carmen’s death was reported by the House of Xtravaganza, which she joined in 1985. The 62-year-old died after losing his battle with lung cancer.
Her Son Oxtavio J-me Xtravaganza shared a heartfelt post on social media post that remarks:
“Today, I share the sad news of the passing of my iconic mother from my chosen Family, The House of Xtravaganza.
My condolences go out to my extended, chosen family of Ganzas. Mother Carmen was light on this earth. She loved us all and nourished us with love and guidance in her presence. This truly hurts. It doesn’t seem like reality now, but she is up above souring in the clouds with eternal happiness and joy with Angie, David & Venus, and among the other Xtrava Family we lost too soon…
Thank You, Mother, for giving me the name Octavio Xtravaganza and being true light energy in my life…

She had a warm and loving personality. She was an Excellent Leader in Ballroom and Outside. She Represented the Best in Ballroom.
